ORDER re: Following the Court's previous order denying the motion to file an amicus curiae brief, ECF No. 38, the movant has filed a motion for clarification of the Court's order and another motion for leave to file a "revised" amicus brief. ECF Nos. 46 & 47. "The acceptance of amicus briefs is within the sound discretion of the court." United States v. Maine, No. 24-cv-00315, 2025 WL 2582122, at *2 (D. Me. Sep. 5, 2025) (quotation modified). The Court finds the proposed amicus brief does not provide any new perspective, materials, or "specialized knowledge" which may "help guide this Court to the correct decision." Id. at *3.
