Status Conference
MINUTE ENTRY ORDER FOR STATUS CONFERENCE held on 7/24/2026. before Magistrate Judge Matthew A. Stinnett: Parties discussed pending motions, the Settlement Agreement, and payment of fees. Parties discussed their understanding of the Settlement Agreement as it applies to sanctions and payment of fees. The Court cautioned the parties of its ability to enforce the terms of the Settlement Agreement as written, not as discussed during negotiations. During the proceeding, Ptff's counsel stated that Dft Zambrano has continued to sell infringing products. Ptff's counsel stated they plan to supplement the record w/ evidence that the collars violate Linda's Leather's patent. The Court ORDERS as follows: 1. Dft's Sealed Motion 181 is DENIED in part, insofar as it requests that the Court order Ptff to show cause and pay attorney's fees in the amount of $7,055; 2. by 7/29/2026, Ptff shall allow Dft to inspect the two collars presented during the Status Conference. The parties are directed to meet and confer regarding a possible extrajudicial resolution to any issues that may necessitate injunctive relief or supplementation to motions for attorney's fees; 3. If, after conferring, the parties are unable to resolve the issues pertaining to possible injunctive relief and/or supplementation of motions for attorney's fees, Ptff shall file any apt motions to supplement their motion under 35 U.S.C § 285 and/or any motions for injunctive relief NLT 7/31/2026; 4. Upon Ptff's filing of a motion for injunctive relief and/or the supplementation of the motion for attorney's fees, Dft shall file a response NLT 8/7/2026.
