Order on Motion to Intervene
MINUTE ORDER: Jordan Durante, a non-party, seeks to intervene in this matter. ECF No. 123 . Mr. Durante, however, fails to comply with this District's Local Rules, which require that a moving party confer with opposing counsel before filing a motion. See D.C.COLO.LCivR 7.1(a). Mr. Durante is reminded that he must confer with opposing counsel before filing a renewed motion. See ECF No. 58 . In addition, "a motion involving a contested issue of law shall state under which rule or statute it is filed and be supported by a recitation of legal authority in the motion." D.C.COLO.LCivR 7.1(d). Motions seeking to intervene are generally governed by the requirements of Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 24, but this motion never mentions the rule, let alone how it satisfies the rule. Accordingly, the Motion, ECF No. 123 , is DENIED without prejudice. Any future motion seeking the same relief must satisfy, at a minimum, the two requirements enumerated above. Entered by Magistrate Judge Cyrus Y. Chung on 07/23/2026. Text Only Entry. For all non-e-filer pro se parties, a copy of this document has been sent via U.S. Mail to the mailing address of record.
