MINUTE entry before the Honorable April M. Perry: Stipulation of Dismissal 63 is acknowledged. Pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 41(a)(1), this case is dismissed without prejudice, with leave to reinstate on or before 12/19/2025. In the event a motion to reinstate is not filed by that time, the case shall be deemed, without further order of the Court, to be dismissed with prejudice. The Court advises the parties that, generally speaking, the Seventh Circuit holds that dismissals "with prejudice" leave the Court without jurisdiction to enforce a settlement agreement. See Shapo v. Engle, 463 F.3d 641, 646 (7th Cir. 2006). To the extent more time is needed for the settlement terms to be completed, an appropriate motion should be filed before the time that the dismissal converts to one with prejudice.
