ELECTRONIC ORDER:
It has come to the Court's attention that Defendants Music Access, Inc. and Steve Cavazos (together, "Defendants") have not answered Plaintiff's Verified Complaint (Doc. No. 1). On June 26, 2026, the Louisiana district court granted Defendants' motion to transfer and denied their motion to dismiss. See Doc. No. 41. Accordingly, Defendants' deadline to answer expired on July 10, 2026. See Fed. R. Civ. P. 12(a)(4).
If Defendants wish to remedy their technical default, they shall file a motion for leave to file their answer out of time under Rule 6(b)(1)(B), the applicable standard when a party's time to act has expired, by September 29, 2026.
(Ordered by Judge Ed Kinkeade on 9/15/2026) (chmb)
