MINUTE ORDER re 50 and 51 Responses to Order to Show Cause: Given Defendant's willingness to attempt to mediate this action, the Court finds it appropriate to randomly refer the Parties to a Magistrate Judge for the purpose of mediation. The Court understands Plaintiff's desire to conduct discovery. Accordingly, the Court also ORDERS the Parties to confer and submit a joint proposed discovery schedule by September 30, 2026, for any remaining discovery in this case. The Court notes that, based on its understanding of current dates available for mediation before a Magistrate Judge, it is likely that the Parties will be able to conduct additional discovery before any mediation date is set; the Court is inclined to put in the referral now to avoid future delay.
