Order on Motion for Extension of Time
** TEXT ONLY ORDER **
Exponent, Inc. asks the court to extend its elapsed deadline to respond to plaintiff's motion to compel Exponent to comply with a Rule 45 subpoena. Exponent's explanation for the delay is understandable and, given that there are no imminent deadlines, the court finds no prejudice to plaintiff in extending the deadline to respond. Accordingly, Exponent's motion for extension of time, Dkt. 49 , is GRANTED IN PART. Exponent has until June 5, 2024 to respond to plaintiff's motion to compel. This will bring Exponent's deadline in line with the response to plaintiff's other pending motion to compel, which will allow the court to address both motions together. The court is particularly interested to hear whether Exponent "regularly transacts business" in the Western District of Wisconsin, as understood by Rule 45(c)(2)(A). Signed by Magistrate Judge Anita M. Boor on 6/3/2024. (rks) -
