Status Conference ~Util - Set Hearings
Minute Entry for Status Conference proceedings held on 9/24/2026 before Magistrate Judge James R. Cho. Appearances by Eliseo Cabrera for plaintiffs; Adam Stewart Katz for defendants. Discussion regarding the discovery issues raised in the parties' 9/23/2026 status report (Dkt. 55).
By 10/5/2026, defendants shall forward to plaintiffs the executed settlement agreements as to the settling parties.
By 10/8/2026, parties shall meet and confer regarding the request for production of documents raised at the depositions of plaintiffs Alexis Collado ("Collado") and Francisco Maldonado ("Maldonado"). If parties are unable to resolve the issues relating to the additional document requests, parties shall file a joint discovery letter.
Plaintiffs' counsel shall follow-up with Collado regarding the "E-ZPass" issue.
Defendants' counsel shall follow-up regarding their subpoena served on Bhrags Homecare ("Bhrags") and advise plaintiffs' counsel whether defendants' request for production of certain documents relating to Maldonado are moot based on Bhrags' anticipated responses to the subpoena.
With respect to depositions, parties anticipate taking the deposition of plaintiff Delgado the week of October 5, 2026, and the deposition of defendant Morad Marashli ("Marashli") by the end of October.
Parties shall meet and confer after completing the deposition of defendant Marashli, and plaintiffs' counsel shall advise defendants' counsel whether plaintiffs need additional depositions of defendants' witnesses. In the event parties are unable to reach an agreement as to these additional depositions, parties shall file a joint discovery letter regarding these depositions by the close of business on 11/3/2026.
