Minute Order Order on Discovery Plan and Scheduling Order
MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS of the Honorable Magistrate Judge Daniel J. Albregts on 8/5/2026.
Re: 13 Joint Discovery Plan.
The parties seek a discovery period measured from the date of their FRCP 26(f) conference rather than the date the first defendant anwered or othewise appeared as provided in LR 26-1(b)(1). But the parties fail to seek special scheduling review as required by LR 26-1(a). The parties also fail to include the certifications required by LR 26-1(b)(7)-(9). So, the Court DENIES their discovery plan without prejudice. The parties must file a renewed plan on or before August 19, 2026.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
