Order on Motion for Conference
ORDER terminating 23 Letter Motion for Conference ; terminating 24 Letter Motion for Conference. The Court is in receipt of Defendants' letters seeking leave to file: (i) a motion to dismiss and for fees pursuant to New York's Anti-SLAPP law, and (ii) a motion for sanctions pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 11. (ECF Nos. 23, 24.) The Court is also in receipt of Plaintiff's responses in opposition, in which Plaintiff also cross-moves for leave to seek sanctions against defense counsel Timothy Parlatore. (ECF Nos. 26, 27.) The Court waives the pre-motion conference requirement and grants Defendants leave to file the proposed motions. The Court also grants Plaintiff leave to file the proposed cross-motion for sanctions. The motions shall be briefed in accordance with the following schedule: 1. Defendants' moving papers shall be served, not filed, on June 11, 2026; 2. Plaintiff's opposition papers and cross-motion papers shall be served, not filed, on July 15, 2026; 3. Defendants' reply papers in further support of their motions and opposition to Plaintiff's cross-motion shall be served, not filed, on July 30, 2026; and 4. Plaintiff's reply papers in further support of the cross-motion shall be served on August 13, 2026. The parties shall file all motion papers on the final reply date, August 13, 2026. The parties are directed to mail two copies of their motion documents to Chambers as they are served, as well as send a copy to Chambers via email as they are served.
