Minute Entry for proceedings held before Magistrate Judge Mark A. Beatty: Status Conference held on 8/6/2026. Attorney Thomas Horscroft appears on behalf of the Plaintiffs. Attorney James Morris appears on behalf of Defendant. The Court discusses with the parties the status of the Defendants' registration with the AAA and where this case stands regarding arbitration. The parties indicate that there has been no progress on arbitration since the last status conference in May. Counsel for Defendant indicates that he has received no additional correspondence from the AAA since April 2026 and could not tell the Court for certain whether he has made any attempts to contact or follow up with AAA since the last status conference. The Court notes that Plaintiff has filed a Motion to Lift Stay (see Doc. 52) and Defendant indicated he plans to file a response to the motion. The Court reminds the Defendant its response is due by August 20, 2026. The Court will await Defendant's response and an issue a ruling as soon as practicable.
