ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE: 1) The private Plaintiffs in this action shall SHOW CAUSE, on or before September 20, 2026, why the Joint Motion for Declaration of Full Unitary Status and Dismissal with Prejudice (doc. 12 ) should not be granted. Responses shall state whether the private Plaintiffs oppose the requested declaration of full unitary status, dissolution of the remaining injunctions, and dismissal with prejudice. If responses in opposition are filed, such responses shall identify the factual and legal grounds for the opposition. 2) The United States and the Lanett City Board of Education shall promptly serve a copy of this Order and the Joint Motion (doc. 12 ) on all attorneys of record for the private Plaintiffs. On or before September 16, 2026, the United States and the Lanett City Board of Education shall file a notice with the court confirming service and the method of service.
