   Order [non-document] The Court is in receipt of the parties Joint Status Report. Therein, Defendants assert that they "may need to schedule [independent medical] examinations after the September 25, 2026 deadline for rebuttal reports" and that they "have discussed this possibility with Plaintiffs' counsel and counsel does not object so long as the parties all retain the ability to conduct full expert discovery and depositions." The parties further represent that they intend to raise the following issues with the Court at the upcoming status conference: (1) "The current discovery deadline of October 28, 2026 and remaining anticipated discovery," and (2) "The logistics and timing of mediation." Based upon these representations, the Status Conference set for September 16, 2026 is cancelled. The Court is inclined to extend the expert discovery deadline. The Court is also inclined the modify the case schedule to accommodate a mediation.
