ORDER. On July 24, 2026, Northwestern Mutual filed notice confirming that it deposited $1,008,054.74, plus the applicable interest accrued through the date of deposit, into the Registry of the Court. The total amount deposited is $1,044,870.91. ECF No. 35.
The Court accepts and confirms the deposit. Accordingly, Northwestern Mutual's renewed request for discharge and dismissal, ECF No. 35, is GRANTED. Northwestern Mutual is DISMISSED as a party to this action and discharged from further liability insofar as the interpleaded proceeds are concerned. See Gen. Accident Grp. v. Gagliardi, 593 F. Supp. 1080, 1087 (D. Conn. 1984) ("If [interpleader lies], the stakeholder is ordered to pay or deliver the stake into court and is discharged of further liability insofar as the stake is concerned."), aff'd, 767 F.2d 907 (2d Cir. 1985).
