It was Judge McShain who ordered the status report. 44 . The parties propose a case schedule which the Court adopts: 5/29/2026 deadline for motions to amend the pleadings; Rule 26(a)(1) initial disclosures due 06/16/2026; service of process on any "John Does" by 06/16/2026; all written discovery requests to be issued by 08/14/2026; fact discovery to be completed by 10/14/2026. The Court will set an expert discovery timeline and dispositive motions deadline nearer to the end of fact discovery. The parties report that they plan to work cooperatively to develop an ESI protocol. The parties may file for an entry of an agreed-upon ESI stipulation once they have reached an agreement. On settlement, the parties report that they have not engaged in further settlement discussions and do not believe a settlement conference would be beneficial at this time. Further joint status report due 06/18/2026 to update the Court on (a) the progress of discovery; (b) the state of settlement discussions, if any; and (c) any other matters the parties believe should be brought to the Court's attention.
