USCA Mandate - Other
MANDATE of USCA (Certified Copy) as to 262 Notice of Interlocutory Appeal, filed by Wilfredo Torres, 269 Notice of Interlocutory Appeal filed by Wilfredo Torres, 258 Notice of Interlocutory Appeal filed by Wilfredo Torres USCA Case Number 24-0131; 24-0247; 24-0574. It is hereby ORDERED that these three proceedings are CONSOLIDATED for the purposes of this order. In August 2023, this Court entered a leave-to-file sanction against Petitioner. See Torres v. The Blackstone Group, 2d Cir. 23-138, doc. 50. Petitioner, pro se, now moves for leave to file these appeals. In 2d Cir. 24-574, he also moves to compel the district court to file a "complete" record in this Court. Upon due consideration, it is hereby ORDERED that the motions for leave to file are DENIED because the appeals do not depart from Petitioner's "prior pattern of vexatious filings." See In re Martin-Trigona, 9 F.3d 226, 229 (2d Cir. 1993). It is further ORDERED that the motion to compel is DENIED as moot. Catherine O'Hagan Wolfe, Clerk USCA for the Second Circuit. Issued As Order: 5/3/2024. (tp)
