Discovery Hearing
MINUTES of Proceedings: Telephonic discovery hearing held. Regarding Bates Nos. 8-17, defendant is ordered to produce those documents to plaintiff. Regarding Bates Nos. 305-369 and documents related to any internal/external investigation, the parties shall confer further after defense counsel reviews the materials. Regarding the requested LEDS records, plaintiff's counsel will review the correspondence from defense counsel and notify the court if further issues exist. Regarding department-wide disciplinary records for pursuit-related incidents, defendant will produce the records related to the pursuits, and identify which incident was investigated and determined to be unfounded. After review, if plaintiff's counsel believes the investigation of that incident should be produced, plaintiff shall notify defendant and the court. Defendant shall then submit the disputed record to the court for in camera review, and the court will make a determination. The deadline to complete discovery is extended to December 31, 2026. Dispositive motions shall be filed by January 29, 2027. Beth Ann Creighton, Sean J. Riddell, and Kristin R. Bell present as counsel for plaintiffs. Robert E.
