Minute Order
MINUTE ORDER issued on 10/8/2026 by the Courtroom Deputy for District Judge Dena M. Coggins: On 10/6/2026, Plaintiff filed a 68 Proposed Substitution of Attorney. However, this form purports to substitute Plaintiff to represent himself in this matter and is not seeking to substitute his current Attorney with new Counsel. Thus, Plaintiff's Proposed Substitution of Attorney does not comply with Local Rule 182(g). Plaintiff's current Counsel may not withdraw leaving their client in propria persona without leave of court upon noticed motion, notice to the client and all other parties who have appeared, and an attorney affidavit pursuant to Local Rule 182(d). Accordingly, the court DENIES the 68 Proposed Substitution of Attorney. To the extent Plaintiff's Counsel seeks to withdraw as Attorney of record, Counsel shall comply with Local Rule 182, and Counsel is DIRECTED to serve Plaintiff with a copy of this minute Order. (Text Only Entry) (Deputy Clerk CRS)
