Order on Motion to Amend/Correct ~Util - Set/Reset Deadlines
TEXT ORDER: Defendant City of Peoria's unopposed 67 Motion to Amend/Correct Scheduling Order is GRANTED. Under Fed. R. Civ. P. 16(b)(4), a scheduling order "may be modified only for good cause and with the judge's consent." Defendant explains that it needs additional time to name defense experts and produce reports due to a delay in completing depositions of Plaintiff's experts. The Court finds good cause for Defendant's request. Accordingly, the discovery schedule is now as follows: (1) Defendant shall disclose its experts by October 5, 2026; (2) Defendant shall disclose its expert reports by October 19, 2026; (3) Defendant's experts shall be deposed by November 13, 2026; (4) rebuttal reports pursuant to Fed. R. Civ. P. 26(a)(2)(D)(ii) are due by November 20, 2026; and (5) the close of discovery is November 20, 2026. The dispositive motion deadline of December 10, 2026, set forth in the Court's April 10, 2026 Text Order, remains in effect. Entered by Magistrate Judge Ronald L. Hanna on 9/9/2026. (ECJ)
