Status Conference
Minute Entry for proceedings held before Judge Lynn Adelman: Status Conference held on 4/29/2024. Discussion of motion to compel government to disclose witness order. Parties confirm that they have agreed on how to handle damages relating to Schulman email: the court will ask the jury to value the relevant off-site services for the entire period at issue; if necessary, the court will then allocate the value of those services based on the period of time for which the jury finds SSSI liable. Court agrees to attempt to seat a jury of 12. However, because the chief judge is selecting a jury on the same day, there may not be enough jurors left to end up with a jury of 12. If so, the trial will proceed with fewer jurors. Defendants request court assistance to locate a conference room in the courthouse for their use during trial. Court agrees to assist.
