Minute Entry for proceedings held before Magistrate Judge Mark A. Beatty: Status Conference held on 9/24/2026. Attorney Brady McAninch appears on behalf of Plaintiff. Attorney Brian Grimm appears on behalf of Defendants. The Court inquires about the status of discovery. The parties indicate that discovery is moving slow but written discovery has been completed as to Defendant Terry and written discovery for Defendant Estes Express Lines, Inc. will be complete within the next few days. The parties indicate that no depositions have been taken to date but anticipate the need for the following: party depositions; several fact witness depositions, treating doctor depositions, and expert witness depositions. The Court discusses the schedule with the parties and indicated that if the parties seek to modify the internal deadlines, they are free to do so as long as both parties agree and it does not affect the overall discovery deadline. Should the parties determine that an extension of the discovery deadline is necessary, they may file a joint motion requesting same. The parties are reminded to include a proposed schedule regarding same. A status conference will be set by separate notice to discuss the progress of discovery. (Court Reporter Liberty Recording.)
