   MINUTE entry before the Honorable Daniel P. McLaughlin: The Court has reviewed the parties' joint status report 482 . The parties report that they recently exchanged new discovery requests and are respectively in the process of responding. The Court sets 10/30/26 as the final deadline for the completion of fact discovery. It is time to bring fact discovery in this 2018 case to a close. Accordingly, no extensions will be granted absent extraordinary circumstances. The Court will not set a deadline for filing motions to compel, as that would be unusual and could be read to imply that motions to compel should in fact be filed. As in every other case, any motions to compel must be timely filed relative to the fact discovery cutoff and the specific circumstances at issue. And as in every other case, the Court expects that the parties will work cooperatively pursuant to LR 37.2 to resolve any discovery disputes without involving the Court.
