Text Only Order
** TEXT ONLY ORDER **The parties move for a 45-day stay of proceedings, explaining that they have reached a tentative settlement, but that the government needs to obtain multiple layers of approval before the settlement can be finalized. Dkt. 96. The motion is GRANTED in part and DENIED in part. A 45-day stay would necessitate striking the trial date, which the court is reluctant to do at this point. But the court will extend the deadline for motions in limine to July 29, 2026. Before that date, the parties should provide a status update, and if all signs still point to a settlement, the parties may move for a further stay. Signed by District Judge James D. Peterson on 7/1/2026. (lam)
