TEXT ORDER: In response to the Plaintiff's TRO motion 65 and the Defendants' dispositive motions ( 61 , 63 ), the Court sets a remote hearing for Tuesday, Oct. 6, at 1:00 PM Eastern. Any party may file a single responsive brief between now and the close of business on Monday, Oct. 5--but only after conferring in good faith with opposing counsel regarding the possibility of narrowing the disputed issues or alleviating the (perceived) urgency of temporary emergency judicial relief. The hearing will address, among other ripe issues, the extent to which this phase of an investigation is likely to cause irreparable harm or bear on the likelihood of Plaintiff's success on the merits, the extent to which immunity applies at the TRO stage, and the potential effects on third parties of judicial action or inaction. See generally, Blick v. Ann Arbor Pub. Sch. Dist., 105 F.4th 868 (6th Cir. 2024) and Josephson v. Ganzel, 115 F.4th 771 (6th Cir. 2024).
