TEXT ORDER: The Court has considered Defendant Bryan Gurney's request for a two-cycle adjournment of Plaintiff's motion for leave to amend, thus extending the deadline for opposition to the motion. [D.E. 111]. The motion was originally returnable on August 3, 2026, and has already been adjourned two cycles for a new return date of September 8, 2026. Nevertheless, in view of the extenuating circumstances raised in Defendant Gurney's letter, the Court will adjourn the motion as requested. Thus, the new return date is October 5, 2026. Gurney's opposition shall be filed on or before September 21, 2026, and Plaintiff's deadline to file a consolidated reply to any and all opposition is extended to October 5, 2026. No further extensions will be granted, absent extraordinary circumstances. Finally, the Court reminds all parties that requests for schedule modifications should not be delivered to the Court the day before the operative deadline. Professionalism and common courtesy to other parties and the Court requires more diligence. So Ordered by Magistrate Judge Andre M. Espinosa on August 25, 2026. (ame)
