Order on Motion to Continue
ORDER granting 81 Motion to Continue. The settlement conference previously scheduled for June 26, 2026 will be rescheduled to July 30, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. EDT (not a misprint). A separate calendar entry will issue.Ex parte mediation statements may be up to twenty double-spaced pages, and shall be submitted on or before July 20, 2026. The date for the plaintiff's demand is reset to July 6, 2026, and the date for the defendant's responsive settlement proposal is reset to July 13, 2026.The Court appreciates the parties' cooperation, and moreover it understands that the need for the continuance arose out of circumstances that were outside the parties' control. Nevertheless, the Court respectfully advises the parties that they can only cancel so many times before it will feel constrained to direct them to private, paid mediation. Requests for further continuances are discouraged. It is so ordered. Signed by Judge Thomas O. Farrish on 05/22/2026. (TOF)
