MINUTE entry before the Honorable Edmond E. Chang: In-person final approval and fairness hearing held. (1.) As explained on the record, and summarized in the final order to be entered today, the objection of United HealthCare Services, Inc. is overruled. The Court finds that United HealthCare Services, Inc. and (as previously decided) self-insured entities that negotiated and paid through third-party administrators are not members of the class. (2.) United HealthCare Services, Inc. is given leave to file a written motion to intervene by 05/13/2024. If a motion is filed, then the Plaintiff's response is due 05/28/2024. United HealthCare's reply would be due 06/04/2024. (3.) As explained during the hearing, all of Civil Rule 23(e) requirements have been met for final approval of the settlement. The Plaintiff's and the Class's motion for final approval of settlement and entry of final order and judgment 1247 is granted. The Plaintiff's and the Class's motion for an award of attorneys' fees, reimbursement of expenses, and incentive award for the Class representative 1250 is also granted.
