NOTICE CLERK'S REJECTION of 107 Proposed Bill of Costs
The Proposed Bill of Costs is rejected for the following reason or reasons: Missing or deficient itemization chart. Failure to explain why costs were necessary and not just for convenience of counsel. Failure to explain how costs contributed to the favorable outcome of the prevailing party. Failure to explain how case law supports costs sought. PREVAILING PARTY IS DIRECTED TO FILE AN AMENDED PROPOSED BILL OF COSTS - the Amended Bill must be filed on the AO 133 Form (Rev. 12/09) Local USDC Colo. version rev. May 2024 found on the court's website under the Court Operations tab and must contain Itemization Chart that follows the directions contained in the Guide to Bills of Costs hearings, attached. See p. 17 of the Guide. Taxation of costs is stayed pending the outcome of the pending appeal which was filed on 4/15/2025. Once the appeal has concluded, either party may request that the Clerk resume consideration of the Proposed Bill of Cost within 14 days of resolution of the appeal. (abeli)
