Order on Motion for Protective Order
TEXT ORDER: On August 20, 2026, Defendant filed a "Joint Motion for Protective Order" (Doc. 16) and an "Agreed Protective Order" (Doc. 17), which was also filed as a motion. The parties should note that under Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 26(c)(1), a protective order may be issued only "on motion" and "for good cause." If the parties seek entry of an agreed protective order, they must file a motion requesting such relief and attach the proposed protective order as an exhibit. Here the parties filed two separate docket entries. Nonetheless, the Court GRANTS the parties request and the Order is attached. Entered by Magistrate Judge Ronald L. Hanna on August 24, 2026. (NL)
