MINUTES OF Mandatory Scheduling Conference held before Judge Stanley Blumenfeld, Jr. The Court heard from the parties about the contents of their joint Rule 26(f) report, including the status of ongoing settlement talks. The Court stays this action until December 3, 2026, subject to earlier reopening to address a settlement or an expedited trial setting. The parties shall notify the Court within three court days of either resolving the case or reaching an impasse. If the parties have not resolved the case by November 13, 2026, they shall file a joint status report by 9:00 a.m. on November 20, 2026. SCHEDULING NOTICE AND ORDER by Judge Kenly Kiya Kato: In light of the Status Report filed September 9, 2026 [Dkt. 21] indicating that the case has settled, this action is placed on inactive status. All previously set deadlines and dates are hereby VACATED. No later than October 9, 2026, the parties shall file either (1) a Stipulation of Dismissal under Fed. R. Civ. P. 41(a)(1)(A)(ii); (2) a Stipulation for an Order of Dismissal under Fed. R. Civ. P. 41(a)(2); or (3) a motion to reopen. Failure to comply with this Order will result in this action being deemed dismissed as of October 10, 2026.
