Order on Motion for Miscellaneous Relief Order on Motion for New Trial
ORDER. After years of litigation, a jury found Coleman County not liable on the plaintiffs' conditions-of-confinement claim. There is a legally sufficient evidentiary basis for that decision, no matter how much the plaintiffs disagree with the outcome. And the Court's charge accurately conveyed the governing law while appropriately guiding the jury in its deliberations. Accordingly, the plaintiffs' renewed motion for judgment as a matter of law (Dkt. No. 218 ) and their motion for new trial (Dkt. No. 220 ) are denied. (Ordered by Judge James Wesley Hendrix on 6/29/2026) (ada)
Order on Motion to Withdraw as Attorney

Udoeyop and Kingaard are relieved of their obligations and duties to this Court as counsel for the plaintiffs in this case. (Ordered by Judge James Wesley Hendrix on 6/15/2026) (ada)
