Order on Motion for Extension of Time to Complete Discovery
ORDER granting 22 in part. In light of 21 and 22 , fact discovery is certified as complete except for the deposition of Defendant Famil Ganbarli. The remaining fact discovery shall be completed by September 11, 2026. The deadline to complete expert discovery remains October 31, 2026. The parties shall file a joint status report by September 11, 2026.
In addition, an in-person settlement conference is scheduled for September 22, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. in Courtroom 11A South before Magistrate Judge Joseph A. Marutollo. The parties shall submit ex parte settlement letters to Judge Marutollo's chambers via email (marutollo_chambers@nyed.uscourts.gov) by September 15, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. The ex parte settlement letters shall comply with Rule IV.C of Judge Marutollo's Individual Practices and Rules. All parties, including clients with settlement authority, shall be present in person for the settlement conference. The parties are further directed to comply with Rule IV.C.3 of Judge Marutollo's Individual Practices and Rules regarding who must appear at the settlement conference.
