Plaintiff Judy Wong was not present; the Court advised she must be in attendance for all future hearings or must file a motion allowing her absence. The Plaintiffs verbal request the Court continue the trial is DENIED. Trial shall move forward as scheduled.
The Court hears argument from counsel as to the pending Motions in Limine, states findings on the recordthese findings are incorporated hereinand issues the following rulings:
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED the following Motions in Limine are DENIED without prejudice: 80 Plaintiffs First Motion in Limine; 81 Plaintiffs Second Motion in Limine; 82 Defendants First Motion in Limine; 84 Defendants Third Motion in Limine; 85 Defendants Fourth Motion in Limine; 86 Defendants Fifth Motion in Limine; 87 Defendants Sixth Motion in Limine; 88 Defendants Seventh Motion in Limine; 90 Defendants Ninth Motion in Limine. All further instruction by the Court, including instructions regarding leave to refile specific Motions in Limine and the scope of objections that may be raised at trial regarding specific evidence challenged in these Motions, are set forth on the record and incorporated herein.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED the following Motions in Limine are GRANTED: 83 Defendants Second Motion in Limine; 89 Defendants Eighth Motion in Limine.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED 134 Plaintiff William Wongs (Unopposed) Motion to Accept Late Filing is GRANTED based upon the Courts finding of good cause.
Parties represent they are ready to proceed to trial on Monday October 5, 2026, and are instructed to report at 8:00 a.m.
The deadline for parties to submit a stipulation to amend the complaint as instructed is August 27, 2026.
The deadline to file the proposed Witness schedule as instructed is September 4, 2026.
Parties have until September 18, 2026, to provide a revised stipulated exhibit list and non-stipulated exhibit list in accordance with Courts instructions.
Counsel supplied their trial exhibits to the courtroom administrator. The Court notes, the parties are instructed to contact the courtroom administrator to test their equipment for their display of exhibits to the Jury. This must be accomplished prior to the day of trial.
