   ORDER: The Court is in receipt of Defendants' motion 26 for an extension of time to complete discovery in light of counsel's recent retention as counsel in the matter. The Court notes, however, that Defendants' original counsel, Haskell Rosenfeld, has not filed a motion to withdraw or any other indication of substitution of counsel. By 9/17/2026, defense counsel is respectfully directed to file a letter clarifying whether Mr. Weinreb is joining Haskell Rosenfeld as counsel for Defendants or whether counsel is being substituted; if the latter, counsel must file an application to substitute that indicates Defendants' approval of the substitution of counsel (see, e.g., AO-154, Substitution of Attorney), accessible at https://www.uscourts.gov/sites/default/files/ao154_0.pdf . See also Local Civil Rule 1.4(b)(2).
