TEXT ORDER entered by Judge Sue E. Myerscough on 6/26/2026: Before the Court is Plaintiff A Plus Car Wash LLCs Motion for Leave to File Under Seal Response in Opposition to Defendant's Motion to Disqualify Appraiser, Stay the Appraisal and Set Aside Settlement and Umpire Award and Motion to Enforce Settlement (d/e 47 ). For the reasons stated therein, Plaintiff's Motion for Leave to File Under Seal (d/e 47 ) is GRANTED at this time. Therefore, Plaintiff's Response in Opposition to Defendant's Motion to Disqualify Appraiser, Stay the Appraisal and Set Aside Settlement and Umpire Award and Motion to Enforce Settlement (d/e 48 ) SHALL remain sealed at this time.
The Court also notes that, on May 26, 2026, the Court directed Michael Schwartz, the Court-appointed umpire in this matter, to file on or before June 25, 2026 either his calculated award as to the 2631 South MacArthur Boulevard, Springfield, Illinois location or a request for an extension of time to file that calculated award. See May 26, 2026 Text Order. As of June 25, 2026, Mr. Schwartz has filed neither his calculated award nor a request for an extension of time to file his calculated award.
The Court DIRECTS Mr. Schwartz to file on or before July 3, 2026 either his calculated award or a request for an extension of time to file his calculated award. The Court DIRECTS the parties to convey this second directive to Mr. Schwartz.(BMG)
