   ORDER granting Defendant's Motion to Stay Discovery 29 . Discovery in this matter is stayed, and Defendant's time to respond to Plaintiff's First Sets of Interrogatories and Requests for Production is tolled pending resolution of Defendant's Motion to Compel Arbitration 18 . "[A] request for a stay of discovery, pursuant to Rule 26(c) is committed to the sound discretion of the court based on a showing of good cause." Stanley Works Israel Ltd. v. 500 Grp., Inc., No. 3:17-cv-01765 (CSH), 2018 WL 1960112, at *2 (D. Conn. Apr. 26, 2018) (internal quotation marks omitted). The party seeking the stay bears the burden of demonstrating good cause. Id. A court may find good cause for a stay upon considering three factors: "(1) the strength of the dispositive motion; (2) the breadth of the discovery sought," including the burden of responding to discovery; and (3) "the prejudice a stay would have on the non-moving party." Metzner v. Quinnipiac Univ., No. 3:20-cv-784 (KAD), 2020 WL 7232551, at *2 (D. Conn. Nov. 12, 2020). Here, the court finds good cause given the breadth of discovery sought and limited risk of prejudice to Plaintiff. Should the court deny Defendant's Motion to Compel Arbitration, the court will set a due date for the Rule 26(f) report and any pending discovery requests.
