Scheduling Order ~Util - Set Deadlines/Hearings
ORDER REGARDING GENERAL PRETRIAL MANAGEMENT: The above-referenced action has been referred to Magistrate Judge Barbara Moses for general pretrial management, including scheduling, discovery, non-dispositive pretrial motions, and settlement, pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 636(b)(1)(A). All pretrial motions and applications, including those related to scheduling and discovery (but excluding motions to dismiss or for judgment on the pleadings, for injunctive relief, for summary judgment, or for class certification under Fed. R. Civ. P. 23) must be made to Judge Moses and in compliance with this Court's Individual Practices in Civil Cases, available on the Court's website at https://nysd.uscourts.gov/hon-barbara-moses. The District Judge ordered the parties to inform the Court, no later than June 16,2026, whether they consent to conducting all further proceedings before Judge Moses. (Dkt. 14.) The parties failed to meet that deadline. No later than July 1, 2026, the parties must file on ECF either a fully executed Notice, Consent, and Reference of a Civil Action to a Magistrate Judge form, or a joint letter advising the Court that the parties do not consent, but without disclosing the identity of the party or parties who do not consent. Judge Moses will conduct a status conference on October 27, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. No later than October 20, 2026, the parties must submit a joint status letter outlining the progress of discovery to date, as well as any settlement efforts. If no discovery controversies exist at that time, the parties may request that the conference be held telephonically. Status Conference set for 10/27/2026 at 10:00 AM before Magistrate Judge Barbara C. Moses. (Signed by Magistrate Judge Barbara C. Moses on 6/24/2026) (rro)
