Order to Show Cause
ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE: This case was scheduled for a status conference via Zoom on October 8, 2026, at 11:30 AM (Doc. 34). The setting was on the calendar for over seven weeks. Attorney Suzanne Garrison was present on behalf of the Defendant but Attorney Mayombo Mbanza failed to appear on behalf of the Plaintiff. The Court further notes that Plaintiff's counsel still has not served his client's initial disclosures despite repeated inquiries from Defendant's counsel (see Doc. 33, pp. 36) and a pending Motion to Dismiss for lack of prosecution based, in part, on said failure to serve the initial disclosures (Doc. 33). Accordingly, Mr. Mbanza is ORDERED to SHOW CAUSE in writing by October 15, 2026, why he should not be sanctioned for his failure to appear and his continued failure to serve his client's initial disclosures.
