Order
Order by Judge Armistead: The court could not find pro bono counsel to represent plaintiff. Without counsel, plaintiff must proceed representing himself. Plaintiff may renew his request for appointment of pro bono counsel, for all purposes or for a limited purpose, if complexities or exceptional circumstances arise. The court extends the deadline set in the court's earlier Order to allow plaintiff to (1) prepare an original summons for each defendant and submit it to the Clerk of Court; (2) provide original and sufficient copies of the issued summons, the complaint, and any scheduling order for service on each defendant to the Clerk of Court; and (3) complete form USM285 for each defendant and submit it to the Clerk of Court. (See Order Granting Motion to Proceed in Forma Pauperis, ECF No. 8 .) Plaintiff has 30 days (that is, until June 12, 2024) to provide those documents. Plaintiff can find more information about representing himself in court at https://www.ord.uscourts.gov/index.php/representing-yourself/information-about-representing-yourself. (pjg)
