Setting Status Conference ~Util - Terminate Scheduling Order Deadlines
ORDER. On 10/1/2026, the Court conducted a status conference. Plaintiff Emily Thompson appeared pro se. Defendant Andrew Dedeke appeared through counsel, Andrew Holder. Defendant Adam Edward Turner appeared through counsel, Morgan Roach. As discussed during the conference, and in light of the Plaintiff's pro se posture at this time, scheduling in this case will be phased. The Court vacates the deadlines in the Scheduling Order at ECF No. 32, but orders the parties to commence written discovery forthwith. The Court sets a status conference for 12/1/2026 at 11:00 AM by telephone, CONFERENCE NUMBER: 316-402-0044 and Conference ID: 220 054 263. It is the Court's full expectation for written discovery to be substantially complete by that date. During the status conference, the parties shall be prepared to discuss depositions, and whether any experts will be designated in the case. Plaintiff is permitted to continuously seek retained counsel in this case and may file a motion to appoint counsel for the Court's consideration.
