Order on Motion for Conference Order on Motion for Summary Judgment
ORDER terminating 177 Letter Motion for Conference ; terminating 178 Letter Motion for Conference ; granting in part and denying in part 207 Motion for Summary Judgment. For the forgoing reasons, Defendant Kal Rieman's motion for summary judgment is GRANTED IN PART and DENIED IN PART and Plaintiff's cross-motion for summary judgment is DENIED. Specifically, Defendant's motion is GRANTED with respect to all claims of copyright infringement except those arising from the photographs on KCI's website. The Clerk of Court is respectfully directed to terminate the motions at ECF Nos. 177, 178, and 207. By October 16, 2026, the parties shall provide the Court with a joint status update as to how they wish to proceed in this case. The status update shall include a request, if any, to participate in a follow-up settlement conference before the Honorable Jennifer Willis.
