Order of Dismissal or Administrative Closure
ORDER: The parties inform the Court that they have "agreed on the terms of settlement in principle, which would fully resolve this matter." Thus, the parties ask the Court to allow them 60 days to finalize the settlement. The Court, finding good cause, grants the motion - Dkt No. 36. All outstanding deadlines are vacated. The parties are ordered to file either a joint stipulation of dismissal pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 41(a)(1)(A)(ii) and a proposed order or a joint status report regarding the settlement by September 8, 2026. The Clerk of Court is directed to administratively close this case for statistical purposes without prejudice to it being reopened to enter a judgment or order of dismissal or for further proceedings if the settlement is not consummated. The defendant's pending motion for Rule 11 sanctions (Dkt. No. 19) is denied as moot without prejudice to refiling. The clerk will prepare the final Report to the Patent/Trademark or Copyright Office. (Ordered by Judge James Wesley Hendrix on 7/6/2026) (bdg)
