By agreement, settlement conference (by video) is set on 6/29/26 at 1:30 p.m. All participants must be available at 1:15 p.m. on the day of the conference to receive and open a link to Webex and be instructed by the courtroom deputy on using the camera, audio, and messaging features. Plaintiff's counsel is to provide a settlement letter to defense counsel by 6/8/26. Defense counsel is to provide a responsive letter to plaintiff's counsel by 6/15/26. Each party is to provide his or her letter to Judge McNally by e-mail to Settlement_Correspondence_McNally@ilnd.uscourts.gov on the same day that the letter is sent to opposing counsel. The parties are directed to review and comply with Judge McNally's Standing Order for Settlement Conferences located on the Court's website. Ex parte conferences are scheduled as follows: Plaintiff set on 6/17/26 at 11:00 a.m. Defense set on 6/18/26 at 11:00 a.m. Clients are welcome to participate in the ex parte conferences but are not required to attend. Video conference scheduled for 5/22/26 at 10:30 a.m. to set a settlement conference. Counsel are directed to confer with each other regarding schedules and then attend the video conference with information regarding their clients' availability. The parties should also discuss whether they would prefer the settlement conference to be in person or by video (no hybrid).
