MINUTE entry before the Honorable Nancy L. Maldonado: Status and motion hearing held on 5/1/2024 via WebEx video conference. For the reasons stated on the record, the Acting Secretary's motion to approve consent order and judgment 208 is granted. Enter Consent Order and Judgement. Defendant Robbins, Salomon & Patt. Ltd., and Robbins Dimonte Ltd.'s motion to join the reply briefs in support of the acting Secretary's motion 221 is granted. Further, for the reasons stated on the record, the Acting Secretary's motion for leave to file first amended complaint 222 is granted. The amended complaint should be filed separately on the docket. Defendants should respond to the amended complaint by 5/22/24. With respect to the Independent Fiduciary's Notice of Proposed Termination 215 and Plan of Liquidation 216 , as stated on the record, the Court sets the follow briefing schedule for objections and responses to the IF's proposals: Any objections to the IF's Proposed Termination are due 5/31/2024; responses to objections to the Proposed Termination are due 6/21/2024; Any objections to the IF's Proposed Plan of Liquidation are due by 6/17/2024; responses to objections to the IF's Proposed Plan of Liquidation are due 7/17/2024. The Court approves the IF's request to provide notice of its filings via postcard, which the IF should serve promptly. The postcard notice should include the objection deadlines set by the Court. Finally, by 6/28/2024, the parties should file a joint status report to update the Court on their progress in discovery, the state of settlement discussions, if any, and any other issues they wish to bring to the Court's attention.
