PAPERLESS Minute Order for proceedings held before Magistrate Judge Marty Fulgueira Elfenbein: Discovery Status Conference held on 10/9/2026 via Zoom. Plaintiff has responded to all discovery requests. Defendant is on track to respond to the Plaintiff's recently served written discovery requests by the deadline. Plaintiff's deposition has been taken. Plaintiff requested the deposition of the crew member who was mopping the deck after the incident and Defendant is attempting to locate that crew member. Defendant has requested the deposition of Plaintiffs husband, William Reese, and Plaintiff will provide dates for the deposition to take place in early November. Plaintiff also intends to depose Plaintiff's orthopedic doctor and will coordinate that deposition with Defendant. Defendant is in the process of obtaining dates for Plaintiff's CME to coordinate the CME with Plaintiff's counsel. Plaintiff is not requesting a ship inspection. The Court advised the parties to contact chambers if a discovery hearing is necessary regarding the conditions of Plaintiff's CME. Total time in court: 15 minutes.
