Minute Order
MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS of the Honorable Judge Cristina D. Silva on 8/12/2026.
In the NCAA's response to the motions for injunctive relief (ECF Nos. 5 , 6 ), it argues that House Settlement bars the plaintiff's claims and that the plaintiff's alleged harm is not redressable due to his ethics violation. See ECF No. 15 at 1617. The plaintiff disagrees. See ECF No. 16 . At the August 10, 2026 hearing, the court indicated that it would take these issues under advisement. See ECF No. 17. To assist in resolving the issues regarding the House Settlement and redressability, the parties are ordered to submit briefing on (1) whether the House Settlement bars this action and (2) whether the plaintiff's alleged harm is not redressable due to his ethics violation. The supplemental briefing is limited to twelve pages and is due by 5:00 p.m. on August 19, 2026.
