Minute Order Order on Motion to Seal
MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS of the Honorable Magistrate Judge Brenda Weksler on 7/2/2026. Before this Court is Defendant's motion seeking to seal three reports and the flash drive on which they are lodged at ECF No. 525. The information sought to be sealed consists of personally sensitive information, the disclosure of which could result in target harassment, phishing, and other security threats of a prominent public figure. See A.H. v. Wynn Las Vegas, LLC, No. 2:24-cv-01041-GMN-NJK, 2026 WL 674499, at *4 & n.6 (D. Nev. Mar. 9, 2026) (redacting employee email addresses and phone numbers because they could be used as a vehicle for improper purposes, including harassment and phishing attempts). As a result, Defendant has shown good cause for its request. Kamakana v. City of Honolulu, 447 F3d 1172 (9th Cir. 2006). The Clerk of Court is instructed to maintain the manual filing at ECF No. 525 under seal. Additionally, Defendant asks that to the extent that any party or the Court references the contents of the reports at ECF No. 525 during the May 18 status conference, the transcript at ECF No. 549 should be redacted. Accordingly, the Clerk of Court is instructed to maintain the transcript at ECF No. 549 under seal. The relevant party must file the proposed redacted version of the transcript on the docket no later than 8/3/2026. (no image attached) (Copies have been distributed pursuant to the NEF - KNH)
