MINUTES OF DEFENDANT'S MOTION TO STAY DISCOVERY (DKT. 1185) Hearing held before Judge John A. Kronstadt Deferring Ruling on 1185 Motion: The hearing on Defendant's Motion to Stay Discovery ("Motion"), Dkt. 1185, is held. Counsel address the Court. In light of the relationship between the Motion and Defendant's Motion to Dismiss (Dkt. 1178), the hearing on the Motion to Dismiss is advanced from October 19, 2026, to September 24, 2026, at 1:30 p.m., with the precise time to be determined when the final calendar for that day issues. Counsel are permitted to attend the hearing remotely, provided that counsel inform the Courtroom Deputy of their intent to do so on or before September 18, 2026. A ruling on the Motion is DEFERRED, with further discussions to occur at the September 24, 2026 hearing on the Motion to Dismiss. At present, although additional discovery requests may be served, the production of documents and other discovery is stayed pending the ruling on the Motion.
