Attorney Fees
MOTION for Attorney Fees Entitlement by Gladys Alicia Guevara Rincon. (Villoch, Alfred) Motions referred to Magistrate Judge Sean P. Flynn.
Order
ENDORSED ORDER The District Judge granted Plaintiff's default judgment motion and directed them to file a motion regarding entitlement to attorney's fees within 14 days (Doc. 32). The Clerk then entered judgment in Plaintiff's favor, closing the case (Doc. 33). The judgment had the effect of terminating Plaintiff's originally filed fees motion (Doc. 29), which in any event did not adhere to the Middle District's bifurcated procedure for requesting an award of attorney's fees. So that the docket is clear, Plaintiff, as instructed by the District Judge, must refile its request for attorney's fees in accordance with the bifurcated procedure in Local Rule 7.01. Plaintiff's attorney's fees motion directed to entitlement only is due within 14 days of this Order. Signed by Magistrate Judge Sean P. Flynn on 7/23/2026. (ACS)
