Order 1 - Terminate Deadlines and Hearings ~Util - Set Deadlines
ORDER by Magistrate Judge Damian L. Martinez. Rule 16 Scheduling Conference is vacated. Closing documents due no later than 10/1/2026. (ma)
Status Conference
Clerk's Minutes for Status Conference held before Magistrate Judge Jerry H. Ritter on 08/17/2026: Attorney Shawn Spencer appeared for Plaintiff. Attorney Carolyn Ramos appeared for Defendants. Both sides are interested in a settlement conference as soon as schedules allow. The Court proposed either October 23, 2026, or October 30, 2026 (by Zoom unless either side expresses a preference for in-person). Counsel will check client availability for those dates and notify the Court as soon as possible. At Defendants' request, the parties agreed to excuse the attendance of Defendant Prutzman at the settlement conference as full settlement authority will be held by Defendants' representative; defense counsel will submit a proposed stipulated order. An order setting the settlement conference will follow once the date is confirmed; counsel should note the other deadlines in the order and the status conference setting that will precede the settlement conference by about two weeks. [THIS IS A TEXT-ONLY ENTRY. THERE ARE NO DOCUMENTS ATTACHED.] (kmt)
